Did some unhealthy habits creep in during the colder months?
Perhaps being stuck indoors during lock-down lead you to the fridge more often than ever. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! Today I’m sharing my 3 tips to kick-start your spring weight loss and get you back on track.
Here are 3 things you can do this week to get back on track:
- Get inspired. Try on your favourite summer outfit from last year and see how it fits now. If it’s a bit snug, take this as a sign that you need to shed a few kilos before summer kicks in. Another good idea is to put on your swimsuit and take a good hard look at yourself in the mirror. Do you like what you see? If not then do something about it, now!
- Spring clean your pantry and fridge. It’s time to clear out any food that won’t support your new spring body. Write a menu plan for the week and be sure to include lighter, healthier meals with more fresh fruit and veggies. Find some inspiration in my seven cookbooks.
- Schedule in some exercise. It’s time to get back outside and exercise. This is such a beautiful time of the year so enjoy what spring has to offer and get healthy at the same time. 30 minutes of exercise is only 2% of your day – Don’t wait for exercise to happen, make it happen!
Now is the time to identify any bad habits that have caused you problems over winter and look for new ways to shed those unwanted kilos.
