Method
Preheat oven 180ºC fan forced.
- Beat eggs and egg whites in a large mixing bowl together then add sugar and vanilla essence and beat well.
- Add milk and mix for 1 minute until well combined.
- Add finely grated orange rind and beat mixture for 15 seconds.
- Pour mix into a medium size casserole or small lasagne dish and sprinkle sultanas evenly over top.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of Nutella over each slice of bread then cut each slice into 4 triangles (leave crust on). Dip bread into egg mix then place on top.
- Place dish in a large baking tray that has been half-filled with water.
- Carefully place in oven and bake for 1 hour or until firm to touch in centre. Remove from water and rest for 5 minutes. Best served warm.
Suitable to be frozen.
