2 egg whites
⅓ cup skim milk
2 tablespoons white sugar
dash vanilla essence
½ teaspoon cinnamon
4 slices toast bread
cooking spray

Method

  1. Beat all ingredients together in a medium size mixing bowl except the bread until combined.
  2. Dip one bread slice at a time in milk mixture until coated.
  3. Fry bread in a non-stick frypan that has been generously coated with cooking spray for 4-5 minutes but don’t have heat too high as bread can burn.
  4. Turn and cook a further 4-5 minutes or until both sides are browned.

Suitable to be frozen.
