1 cup red apple skin on small dice
¼ cup frozen raspberries
¼ cup frozen blueberries
½ cup Uncle Tobys® Natural Style Swiss Blend Muesli
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons (10g) Flora® Light margarine melted
1½ tablespoons flaked almonds

Method

Preheat oven to 180ºC fan forced.

  1. Combine apple and berries in a small bowl. Divide mix evenly over the base of 2 ramekins (around 9cm across).
  2. Place muesli and brown sugar into a small bowl and combine.
  3. Add melted margarine to muesli mix, combine well.
  4. Sprinkle an equal amount of topping over each ramekin, then top with flaked almonds. Bake 30 minutes or until almonds have browned. Once cooked leave to rest for 15 minutes if possible.

Suitable to be frozen.

Dietitian's tip

This dessert is high in fibre. Berries contain soluble fibre which may increase your feeling of fullness as well as reduce your appetite.
