Staying committed to the cause

“TO THOSE WHO SAID I CAN’T DO IT – WATCH ME!”

Staying committed is about knowing your ‘why’ so you don’t give up. Look back over what we discussed when you joined the program – you may remember I said you need to know ‘what’ (how much weight you want to lose) and ‘why’ you want to lose it. The ‘why’ really is the key to staying motivated and on track.

  • Look at the positive things that you’ll gain from getting to your goal weight instead of focusing on what you’re missing out on
  • Surround yourself with likeminded people who can help to prop you up when you need it
  • Focus on what you need to do today to get closer to your goal of being a healthy person

I know that you’re capable and competent in making healthy choices. Look for opportunities every day to improve your health and quality of life. Make it a priority!

Action step

If you haven’t already done so, write down ‘why’ you want to lose weight? Then put them on notes and stick them around the house as a reminder of why you’re doing this.
