Cooking for one?

I really do understand the problem of cooking for one using my recipes as they are designed more for families. My suggestion is to either freeze the leftovers or halve recipes where possible.

Another suggestion comes from what I heard a group of ladies are doing and I think it is a fantastic idea. They live in a retirement village and get together each week to pick menus (there are 4 women), each of them pick a recipe from one of my books and then they make one recipe each.  When the meals are cooked, they meet that afternoon and swap dinners so that everyone ends up with 4 different meals and have only had to cook 1 meal each.
