The right way to lose weight and keep it off long-term
I’m always excited to receive messages from people who have lost weight using my cookbooks, shakes, mentoring program and menu plans because I know first-hand how much their life will improve. A couple of weeks ago I received this beautiful message from a lovely lady, Janelle from Tamworth.
Here’s what she had to say:
“Hi Annette, I wanted to let you know I’ve been using your shakes for the last 10 weeks and am happy to report I have lost 13 kilos.
I’ve tried all three flavours and love them all. They’re great on their own or for a change I’ll add a banana or blueberries to the vanilla shake or a banana to the chocolate. If I’m at home, I mix it up in the blender and add an ice cube which makes it thicker and creamier.
The menu plans are so easy too. I printed them all out and have them in a folder so I just pick what I want to have for dinner and use that menu for the day. My husband has been a big support and is happy to eat the same meals, but if there is a meal he doesn’t like I know I can easily swap for something of similar calorie and fat count from Annette’s books.
A few weeks ago I realised I was going to run out of your shakes, so I bought one from the supermarket to get me through. I didn’t like it at all and found it didn’t fill me up. I was so happy when my shake order arrived in the mail.
The other thing I love is that I don’t have to have the shakes for breakfast every day. I can have Weet-Bix or porridge or swap the shake to an afternoon snack.
The shakes have been great for me as they have kick-started my weight loss and even though I still have around 30 kilos to lose I feel confident I can do this now.”
It makes me so happy to know that my shakes and menu plans have helped Janelle and many other people to lose weight. More importantly, this has given me the opportunity to teach them the right way to lose weight and keep it off for the long term. Fad diets teach people nothing and most people who lose weight on a fad diet gain it all back in no time.
