Last month was all about supporting your local charity that raises funds for breast cancer sufferers. As promised, I have donated $50 for every 3 Day Weightloss Workshop Retreat booking made during the month of October to the Pinktober® for Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation.
This is my favourite charity on the Sunshine Coast so I am pleased to announce as a result of bookings made last month, I have donated $500 to this very worthy cause. Read more >

Bookings are coming through from all over Australia for my 3 Day Workshop Retreat in March 2012, including our very first attendees from the Northern Territory which is very exciting! In honour of PINKtober®, I will donate $50 to the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation for every 3 Day Workshop Retreat booking made during the month of October.
Don’t forget that you can split the cost over 5 instalments and it’s a great idea to ask your friends and family to help cover the cost as combined Birthday and Christmas presents, all while helping to support a great cause. Read more >

This month is all about supporting your local charity that raises funds for breast cancer sufferers, their families. There are lots of fun ways you can help so why not get involved and show your support for this very worthy cause.
I will be supporting Pinktober® for Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation & the National Breast Cancer Foundation, who are both organising events this month including the NBCF's Symply Pink Luncheon Event on the Sunshine Coast where I will be the guest speaker. If you live on the Sunshine Coast, I'd love to see you there.

I was so touched to hear about a beautiful young girl called Jemma, who was diagnosed with cancer while on holiday in Brisbane with her
family in January and the family haven't been home to Cairns since.
Renee (Mum), Josh (Dad) and Jai (big brother) have relocated to Brisbane
as Jemma continues to have treatment to fight this cruel disease and
will be here for at least another year. To date, Jemma has had 6 bouts
of chemotherapy, untold blood & platelet transfusions and operations
to remove tumours from behind her eye and stomach and has lost a
kidney.
Jemma is an absolute inspiration, for such a sick little girl, there isn't a photo of her without the brightest of smiles on her beautiful little face - a true reflection of her fighting spirit! Read more >

On Monday 11th of July I was fortunate enough to meet the amazing Simon McKeon, Social Entrepreneur and 2011 Australian of the Year. Simon's story was very inspiring and we had a lovely chat at the end of his presentation. Simon loves supporting the community and great charities like World Vision Australia in which he continues to be involved with the Global Poverty Project and Red Dust Role Models, which works with remote Indigenous communities.
I myself sponsor two gorgeous boys, Domingo and Melvin, from Nicaragua. It's wonderful seeing how they have blossomed over the years and if you can support this wonderful charity, please visit World Vision Australia's website below to find out how. Read more >

Unfortunately January is the time of the year when many pets that were given as Christmas presents become unwanted and are left without homes. My sister, Linda McFadden, is doing the Sydney Morning Herald Cole Classic and Sun Run on 6th February 2011 to raise money for Monika's Doggie Rescue. If you would like to support this great cause by donating, you can do so at http://www.everydayhero.com.au/CURLY_KIDS . Read more >
