My Weekend at the SAWW Conference

In May I had the privilege of meeting and presenting to the wonderful people at the SAWW (South Australian Weight Watchers) annual convention in Wallaroo, South Australia. The event was a sell out and the attendees were keen to learn which makes my job so much easier.

The Friday night was a public event and people from throughout the district showed up in droves, in fact they even had people up on the mezzanine level of the hall! I enjoyed sharing my story with them and teaching them all about Menu planning, then watching them work in small groups to create their own menu plan. There was never a dull moment. In the cooking class I made my French Onion and Corn Relish Dips, Indian Tikka Chicken followed by the delicious Strawberries Romannette.  Needless to say,  taste testing was a real hit!
Saturday I talked about Portion Distortion, which is always an eye-opener to those on a weightloss plan. I shared with them my secrets to weightloss success and how to conquer their weight for a lifetime of health and happiness. The You Tube videos were so popular, I even received an encore for “Orme the Pig”.

After a wonderful weekend away, I arrived home to a lovely email from one of the participants, Jan who shared this message “Thank you so much for coming to Wallaroo this past weekend Annette. I was truly blessed by you being there and encouraged. I have about 10 kilos still to lose and feel that I now have the tools to be successful…”

Thank you to the wonderful people of SAWW Wallaroo for inviting me to be their keynote speaker for their annual conference.

If you would like to book me to speak at your next function, email me with the details of the event and proposed date admin@symplytoogood.com I can tailor a presentation to suit your audience, ie. whether it be creating a healthy balanced lifestyle, tips to health and wellness, or encouraging students or business owners to follow their dreams.

I weighed 108.6kg and didn't realise how bad I looked until I saw a photo, I was so depressed. Then my sister sent me the full set of Annette’s cookbooks. It took me 12 months but I lost the weight and have kept it off for 12 months. I now weigh 69 kilos, fit in to a size 10 dress and feel fantastic.
